Masonite

Overview

Masonite is a leading global designer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of interior and exterior doors. Hero Digital was tasked with a complete redesign of the Masonite website. The new Masonite.com was built on the Optimizely CMS (Content Managment System). The component creation and design system documentation was handled in Storybook JS.

My Responsibilities

• Worked with the design & engineering teams to create a design system in Storybook JS
• Built front-end architecture in the project using Atomic Design Principles and BEM
• Created components using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript
• Created accessiblity annotiatons and requirements for complex components using Figma & Confluence
• Worked with the development team to integrate components into the Optimizely CMS
• Coordinated with the client to ensure all requirements were met
